Here is an image of the dragon piece, further along. Its blown out exposure wise on the left side and a bit contrasty compared to the original.

this is very impressive. how did you get the look like it's painted and varnished?

Seal the graphite w/fixitive coat the paper w/acrylic matt medium or clear gesso...after you've made a neutral sealed surface touch the blacks w/oil

its bit of a process but it can go really far. It also makes the original almost unreproducable in terms of printing but Im working on that. The image you see here doesn't show the subtle detail and how it reacts to different light
